Sports Vouchers If the player is in Primary School (up to year 9) then they may be eligible for a Sports Voucher which reduces the fees by $200.

Conditions of Membership
All players are strongly encouraged to wear the Seaside Tennis Club shirt during match day competition. To order, click the uniform link here.
Player will present themselves for play in clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire. The player agrees to abide by the Tennis Australia Code of Behaviour. Players shall conduct themselves in a responsible manner at all times with the Committee having the right to cancel the membership of an offending player. Court allocation is under the control of the Management Committee as courts will not always be available in the event of tournaments. Senior match players are to notify their availability by Wednesday. Late withdrawal will only be accepted in an emergency. Other cases of late withdrawal will incur a one match suspension. The player and player’s parents/caregivers (for players under 16 years of age) agrees to abide by the Seaside Tennis Club Member Protection Policy. The player and player’s parents/caregivers (for players under 16 years of age) acknowledge that the teams will be selected in accordance with the Seaside Tennis Club Selection policy. The player agrees to have their details entered onto the Tennis Australia website. When you complete this nomination form on our website, you are committing to Seaside Tennis Club for the Summer 2024/2025 Season. We request that full fees be paid on nomination. If you are may have difficulty paying your fees upfront, please contact our Treasurer who is happy to work through options for you.

Team Competition Nominations
Junior State League is aimed at providing the best junior players in South Australia the opportunity to compete against each other in a weekly competition played over the summer season. This season will see the introduction of the “Junior State League 2” (or JSL2). This will be the second tier of the Junior State League Competition. The aim of this division is to create a pathway for players who have performed well at Association level, and are striving to make the Junior State League competition. The Junior State League competitions are played on Friday nights in a home & away structured competition. Dates for Junior State League & Junior State League 2 - Online nominations open, 31 July 2024. - Online nominations close, 7 August 2024. - Start of season, 18 October 2024. - Last match before Christmas, 13 December 2024. - Break after, 14 December 2024 and returning, 31 January 2025. 2024/25 Key Dates – Junior State League 1 - Photo Day to be confirmed. - Last round, 14 February 2025. - Finals to be run over 2 weekends, commencing 21 February with the Grand Final on 28 February 2025. 2024/25 Key Dates – Junior State League 2 - Last round, 28 February 2025. - Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend – 7-10 March 2025. - Finals to be run over 2 weekends, commencing 14 March with the Grand Final on 21 March 2025. Metro League is a highly competitive competition that has evolved over the recent seasons. Metro League is an open competition accessible to teams from any Metro based Association. The aim of this competition is to provide a competition of strong standard that can provide a stepping stone to State League or a competitive playing experience for those who are looking for a competitive hit but not at State League level. 2024/25 Key Dates - Online nominations open, Thursday, 1 August - Online nominations close, Sunday, 18 August - Start of season, Saturday, 12 October - Last match before Christmas to be Saturday, 14 December - Break after, 14 December and returning on Saturday, 1 February - Last round to be, Saturday, 1 March - Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend – Saturday, 8 March - Finals to be run over 3 weekends, commencing Saturday, 15 March, with the Grand Final on Saturday, 29 March GWTC nominations to be advised, however, if you are interested, please complete the online registration form, details to follow. - A 10% discount on the combined total fee applies to families with 3 or more members playing.

If a member is playing in both senior and junior teams they only pay the Seniors – Student (school) amount.
Midweek Social is for organised midweek social competition players
Family and Individual Social is for families or individuals not playing competition but wanting access to the courts around the competition and coaching usage.

Proposed Format
Information regarding GWTC competition structure for 2024/2025
For the GWTC singles competitions, women nominate in divisions 1 to 6, and men in divisions 1 to 11 as per last season. For the combined mixed doubles competition nominate in divisions 1 to 5.
The WDTA Mixed Doubles competition.
Teams of 4-6 players prefer, 2 men + 2 women but allowed any number of either gender. Each player plays 1 x 2 set doubles followed by 2 x 1 set doubles, changing partners each time. Contact Neville Messenger. Standard similar to bottom singles divisions.This season, women’s only and men’s only doubles will be offered to GDTA, WDTA and SDTA clubs. To be played in one session.
The proposed format is
Round 1: 1st double and 2nd double;
Round 2: 3rd double and 4th double. Up to 6 players per team. Each double would be the best of 3 6-game tie break sets, with a match tie break 3rd set. No player may play with the same player in 2 different doubles or in 2 doubles in the same round. The highest-ranking player playing in the 1st round must play in the 1st double, and the highest-ranking player playing in the 2nd round must play in the 3rd double.
