Squad Training

Development Squad
At this stage in our development pathway the focus for our junior players is match strategy, tactics, fitness, preparation and recovery for match and tournament play. This program is most suitable for players training and competing at an advanced level on a regular basis.

Advanced Squad
We then focus on delivering the building blocks of improvement (footwork, shape and weight of shot, transition, serve & return, fitness) to ensure an accelerated rate of development.

Group Coaching

The low-compression red, orange and green balls bounce lower and are slower, which makes them perfect for the varying heights and skills of children. Each group coaching offer is broken down into the 3 main stages:

Level 1 - Red Ball Group Coaching
Our red ball introductory group coaching is available for young children.
Red ball coaching is a fun tennis focus of development of gross motor skills.
It is an introduction to tennis using fun games for children.

Level 2 - Orange Ball Group Coaching
Orange Ball Program is set to get a child ready for match play through fun modified games and working through some technical development of strokes.

Level 3 - Green Ball Group Coaching
Green ball group coaching teaches your child the basic strategies and principles of tennis. This is for the competitive player looking to join in Junior tennis program.

What to bring - It is that your child wears comfortable sports clothes, runners, a hat, and brings a bottle of water with them. If you don’t have a tennis racquet don’t worry, we can assist by lending a tennis racquet for the first lesson.

When - Each group coaching is offered during the school term at a designated time each week.

Cost - Each term is $120 and remains at 45min - 1hr per lesson.
